Clydach, Wales

Carningli viewed across Cwm Clydach. A steep and thickly-wooded valley lies between the photographer's position on a public footpath and the mountain in the distance. The bracken is high and rowan berries are already ripening in mid-August.

Bridge over Clydach river. This bridge is quite narrow, as evidenced by the battered barriers. Traffic should only cross one direction at a time. This river travels a long way through the mountain and eventually becomes the river Clydach.
